I’ve not bought these in a while. My aunt used to make a spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Then she’d add these crumbles to the top. I don’t really mind what type of cake I use, with the cream cheese frosting and these crumbles are the best! I must confess I make cupcakes and not a cake just because I’m aware of how much I’m eating. Oh and they are good right out of the bag. Now I need to find a soft cookie so I can sprinkle on top. So good!
I’ve used these to make toffee cake, put on ice cream, etc. Excellent to have on hand—best toffee ever, whether bars, pieces, or crumbs!
I love to buy this bag for ice cream toppings. Or maybe just eat with a spoon:). It’s a great way to get the fabulous flavor of Enstrom’s toffee without paying for the beautiful large pieces in the boxes. Yes, there are small pieces and almond dust and chocolate bits, but there are also big chunks as well. Totally a great price for a great product and a smart way to literally use every crumb from their batches of toffee. If you don’t live near an Enstrom’s shop and haven’t had their toffee lovers ice cream flavor, then this is the next best thing!
